Please
read this Agreement carefully before proceeding.
By booking and attending a consultation, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.
If you would

This
Agreement is required under the Code of Professional Conduct of the College of
Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
1.
Parties
This Initial
Consultation Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:
Regulated
Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC): Nick Imoru
Membership No.: R1053530
and
The
Client, who books
and attends the consultation through the appointment scheduling system.
2. Scope
and Limits of Engagement
The services
provided under this Agreement are strictly limited to one initial
consultation on the immigration matter selected by the Client at the time
of booking.
This
Agreement:
Does not include
preparation, review, or submission of any application
Does not obligate the
RCIC to act for the Client beyond the consultation
Does not create an
ongoing client-consultant relationship
Any
additional services, advice, or representation will require a separate
written retainer agreement signed by both the Client and the RCIC.
3. Method
and Duration of Consultation
The
consultation will be conducted Online (by Zoho Meeting, Google Meet
or Microsoft Teams) or in person, as selected by the Client during booking.
The
consultation will last for the duration specified in the appointment
scheduling system. Time overruns are not guaranteed and are at the RCIC’s
discretion.
4. Fees
The Client
agrees to pay the full consultation fee in advance, as displayed on the
appointment scheduling system.
No services
will be provided until payment has been received.
5. Refund
Policy
Consultation
fees are earned immediately upon the commencement of professional advice.
Once the
consultation begins, fees are non-refundable, regardless of outcome,
satisfaction, or whether the Client chooses to proceed with any application.

Cancellations, No-Shows, and Re-Bookings

Responsibilities
The Client
agrees to:
Provide complete, accurate,
and truthful information
Disclose all relevant facts,
including negative or adverse information
Provide documents requested for
the purpose of the consultation
Failure to
fully disclose relevant information may:
Invalidate the advice provided
Negatively affect the Client’s
immigration outcome
Limit the RCIC’s ability to
provide accurate guidance
8. Advice
Limited to Date Provided
All advice
is based on Canadian immigration laws, regulations, and policies in effect
on the date of the consultation.
The RCIC is not
responsible for:

Confidentiality and Electronic Communication
All Client
information is kept confidential in accordance with:
Information
will not be disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required
by law.
The Client
consents to:
The RCIC
will use reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security of
electronic communications.
10.
Governing Law
This
Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and
the laws of Canada applicable therein.
11.
Professional Standing
Nick Imoru
is a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and
Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is bound by its By-laws, Regulations,
and Code of Professional Conduct.
